Oregon Savings Growth Plan - Print Collateral

Creating a consistent visual framework for a wide range of communications

Project Overview

The Oregon Savings Growth Plan (OSGP) provides retirement savings plans, supported by educational materials and planning resources, to Oregon’s state and local employees. OSGP also holds a yearly expo where both active and prospective plan participants are invited to learn about what the plan has to offer through one-on-one counseling and educational seminars.

Each year the team develops an overarching, retirement-oriented theme for the expo which is also used across all the materials. This thematic and underlying messaging must then be worked into the various creative assets that plan participants regularly receive from OSGP.

Over the past several years, VisionMix has been working with OSGP to design and execute a series coordinated communications materials. These range from plan workbooks and seminar presentations to digital e-books and marketing materials. Our team also develops all signage and promotional elements in support of the expo. Our primary focus is to ensure that an appealing and consistent visual messaging format is employed across all outgoing communications, reinforcing both the brand and the current thematic.

What We Did

  • Designed a visual framework derived from the OSGP logo to serve as the foundation for all communications

  • From this framework, we developed:

    • PowerPoint templates for use in seminars – we also executed the content migration to ensure all slides were properly formatted

    • Various email communications – delivered in .OFT format for ease of delivery

    • A digital “plan highlights” e-book comprised of 6 informational tab sections

    • A plan workbook designed to facilitate participant planning

    • A coordinated series of signage for onsite communication at the expos

  • With these components in hand, we then worked with the OSGP team to deliver the communications across multiple channels, coordinating with 3rd party resources where necessary to ensure successful execution
