TRUE Commercial Real Estate is a full-service advisory and brokerage firm specializing in representing both retailers and property owners, as well as providing real estate sales and consulting services. A dynamic, up to date website is critical to the company’s ongoing success – communicating both the overall brand story and their available properties.
The challenge TRUE faced was a common one:
Their existing site was getting out of date, was not mobile friendly, and was difficult / costly to update
The expense of developing a new site seemed prohibitive
In recent years, the rise of platform-based websites like Squarespace.com have allowed for fast and affordable website creation. By leveraging pre-supplied responsive design templates within an easy-to-use content management system, non-technical users can build a decent looking and functional website. However, the fundamental challenges of messaging, structure and design still remain.
Always looking to provide value, VisionMix has been actively engaged in Squarespace site development – marrying our extensive site design / development experience with the inherent power of the platform to provide our clients with a polished, functional, and cost-conscience web solution. Using Squarespace, we were able to provide TRUE an effective digital marketing tool at a fraction of the cost of a more traditional, custom built site.
WHAT WE DID
Worked with the TRUE team to evaluate their existing site to determine what worked and what didn’t – from both a communication standpoint and as a business tool
Used these learnings to develop a Squarespace platform solution that addressed all functional requirements
Developed a site architecture and UX for the new site leveraging the optimal Squarespace template and content block types
Within this template we then implemented the custom styles, branding and imagery to form a TRUE-specific site framework
Finally, we loaded all site content as necessary to build out the various pages and functional components for the site – this included text based content, and two custom blog components used for listings and company news
Upon launch, we supplied the TRUE team with all graphic template files and basic training in order to facilitate ongoing maintenance
